Unlawful means in contravention of a prohibition or restriction or condition imposed by law.
Rights that are granted because of nature or God. Rights that are unchangeable and cannot be altered by government or man. The Bill of Rights is Common or Natural Law. They are absolute.
Rights granted by government. Can be altered or eliminated by the granting authority. They are not absolute.
