Frequently Asked Questions
What does "de jure" mean?
A Latin expression that means “A state of affairs that is in accordance with law, legitimate,
lawful, or by right of law.” (This is our end goal, to become Minnesota De Jure – to exercise the supreme
law of the land; God’s law; common law. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”)
What does "de facto" mean?
A Latin expression that means “In fact, in reality, in actual existence, as a matter of fact.”
Existing, but not by law. (This is our current status as part of the bankrupt service corporation. This is
where codes, rules, regulations, statutes, ordinances etc. come into play. These words are used to describe
our “legal” system, which is fraudulent and not “lawful.” There’s a big difference!)
Why aren't Constitutional Rights important?
There are a least three versions of the United States Constitution. These are rules and regulations for the government and not for the Americans. You do. not have constitutional rights, the government has constitutional obligations. Your rights are from God. You are free because of your humanity. These rights are outlined in the Bill of Rights, particularly 1-12. Those rights that are not listed are to be determined by the People, not by government. Please see the complete text in our "American Founding Documents" page for the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
The government is actually a corporation?
In 1871, after having suffered serious financial devastation due to the Civil War, the 41st Congress created a contract with the Crown to pay back debt. That contract was only to be the 10 square miles of Washington DC. However in 1940 the Buck's Act annexed all states. This corporation, or service company created by the crown to manage the contract was only to be in place a briefly, until our debt was paid and Americans could mobilize to take back control of the natural government. With power and money it served the contract company to continue and prevent knowledge of this via compulsory public schooling. Please see documentation of this in the "Resources" page.
Do you have to submit papers to free yourself of the de facto government?
No. A fraud has been perpatrated on you. Fraud vitiates everything. You would not submit paperwork to the same corporation that defrauded you in the first place. That would be giving legitimacy to the de facto government. You are a free, private American.
What are you expecting from me? Do I have to join or pay for something?
No, we do not ask for paperwork, money, donations, or memberships. Educate yourself and pass it on. If you would like to be more involved, you can be more involved. In a Republic, everything is voluntary.
How do I become an Assembly member?
Attend our weekly meetings. Educate yourself. Recruit other patriots. Leave egos at the front door. We are here to restore our republic for posterity. This is not about becoming a power player, or gaining fame. We also are all in this together and we are all equals. There are no "leaders:", just people that hold specific offices.
What is the role of an Assembly member ?
There are several offices that will be available once the assembly is formed. You can volunteer for one of those offices. Education of others and yourself about history and our de jure government is the largest role. A member of a lawful assembly will be on a grand jury rotation.
How do I know this Assembly is legit?
There are specific groups that claim to be the legal assembly. Legal is a word for the de facto. A lawful assembly will not ask for personal paperwork, to file paperwork, for dues or money. These are a few that are not considered lawful for various reasons.
Anna Von Reitz , Life Force, Sheriff Mack, Convention
David Straight, Decon 37, National Liberty Alliance
There are other groups that might just be a data mining organization for China or the three letter agencies. Unless you are in a legitimate physical meeting, no one should ask you for your autograph. No one should ever ask you for your photograph or social security information.
